An Evening of Playback Theatre with Tarte Noire Women's Playback Theatre Company http://www.playbacktheatre-sw.co.uk/
Playback is a form of spontaneous improvised theatre in which the audience are invited to share their own personal stories before watching their words transformed into live theatre before their eyes. Performances can be moving, challenging, funny, poignant and extraordinary!
During a Tarte Noire performance, the audience are drawn together as they witness the enactments. Through this spontaneous improvised theatre form we seek to create art and beauty as a way of acknowledging the fullness of our human experience. We invite conversations between people where we can explore together and see reflected the reality and mystery of our lives. A space is created to enjoy listening deeply to each other. We have become aware that this work removes feelings of isolation and creates intimacy between people. Every voice is welcome.
Suggested donation: £10 (£8 concessions)
Time: Doors open at 7:45pm, no admittance after 8.00p.m.

£195 for both days (including canvas and oil paints)
This class is for people wanting to take time out to paint, overcoming distractions with your creativity and free expression with colour.

You will benefit from my years as an Art Psychotherapist and Embodiment coach understanding the creative process and the neuroscience behind what allows painting and creativity to flow, rather than trying to get it right before and as it arrives on the canvas. We will paint the sea together - and discover opening our senses to see!
We will begin with guided relaxation into your creative with step by step support throughout your journey with your canvas and expressions. We will explore together liberation routes into trusting spontaneity.
Canvas, oil paints and mediums for use on the day are included. You will also have options to buy your own tubes of paint and quality, discounted canvases to take away.

Consensual Touch™ (The Wheel of Consent).
August 18-19th, with Kian de la Cour, CSSE
Taking out the guess work & "telepathy" : : Teasing out and understanding your dynamics of touch.
We learn from a young age to go along with how we are touched and often only really know whether it was what we wanted in hindsight. This workshop will teach you how to have "hindsight in the moment" to relieve you of more potential emotional hangovers in life through the embodied experience of Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent teachings.
This is an embodied learning environment were you will learn through your body. The workshop is clothed and you will never be asked to touch or be touched by anyone you do not want to be.
You will learn the biology of your body's responses to stress which leads to reduced trust in giving and receiving and how to increase your receptivity to pleasure and relaxation.
Previous participants have said:
"This was life-changing and powerful for me"
"I loved it! There was a good balance of practice and reflection/integration".
"The integrity and embodied understanding of the subject by the facilitators shone through".
Cost: £180 Early bird offer: £140 for the first 6 people who book by paying in full.
